December 2011: Levin & Glasser Web Site is Grand, Central

Nine-attorney Levin & Glasser is a general-practice law firm in New York City handling business law, real estate, trusts and estates. Levin & Glasser worked with DLS Design to create their new web site from the ground up. Ready for the firm to show off this holiday season, the look is geometric, rich but not overstated, and enjoys the benefit of high-quality portrait photography. www.levinglasser.com
December 2011: Regional Law Firms are a Study in Contrast
Manhattan boutique Saito Law Group has its origins in corporate and white-collar firms; John Solis is a solo personal injury lawyer in Laredo, Texas. For Saito, DLS employed a restrained Wall Street palette and wide, stable framework, and for Solis, a more colorful, consumer-friendly design using a familiar Texas symbol, the "lone star", a pre-existing logo. Each site carefully optimized and appearing in searches the very next day. www.saitolawgroup.com and www.lawofficeofjohnsolis.com
Understanding the specific needs of every client, DLS Design will approached each project differently, a promise we make to new clients as well.

DLS designed this simple and elegant website for health care law counsel Catherine G. Patsos as she opened her new law office. As a startup, our client needed quick turnaround. We delivered the site by opening day, with printed materials including stationery and several print ads rolled out on time. www.healthcarelawllc.com
New for September 2011: Brooklyn Nonprofit Reaches the "Heights"

DLS designed Heights and Hills new web site in conjunction with the organization's development agency. Heights and Hills is one of the largest providers of support services for older adults in a number of communities in Brooklyn and their families. They meet with older people in their homes, and support caregivers such as family members. www.heightsandhills.org
New for September 2011: Single-Issue Sites for Lawyers

DLS Design can implement a web site for any client on short notice whenever a particular issue needs attention. This happens frequently in the personal-injury space when a pattern emerges around a dangerous or defective product and many people are seeking recoveries through lawyers. These sites usually have a quick contact mechanism, and may be taken down when a case has been resolved. View sample here.
July 2011: Poe & Burton PLLC Re-Launch

DLS designed the original web site for Washington, DC attorney Greg Poe in 2009. When the firm combined forces with another attorney, forming Poe & Burton PLLC, DLS transitioned many of the same elements to a new site at www.poeburton.com. DLS is frequently called in to guide firms that are starting up, growing, combining or otherwise transitioning with their web initiatives.
July 2011: Brown Gavalas & Fromm LLP Brochure

DLS Design produced this capabilities brochure for insurance-defense firm Brown Gavalas & Fromm. The full color piece, printed on coated stock, contains interior pages describing the firm's practice, and the back cover carries a pocket for the insertion of separate promotional pages the client can print from templates we set up.
May, 2011: "Your Wrongs, Your Rights:" a Criminal Attorney's New Web Site

In May DLS completed the design of a new web site for Brian T. Pakett, a criminal attorney in the Bronx, NYC. DLS Design designed a dramatic, concise web site with answers to some common questions on arrest and similar matters. We also wrote the slogan, Your Wrongs... Your Rights, which strongly reflects this attorney's approach to his clients. Read the nice things Brian is saying about us on the DLS Design testimonials page. Then view the site at www.pakettlaw.com
May 2011: Filling in the "Gulf" for Texas PI firm

Just back from the printer, the latest brochure by DLS Design, for Brunkenhoefer Almaraz & Turman P.L.L.C., a personal injury firm in Corpus Christi, Texas. Having completed the firm's website, we painstakingly re-created the design for print. Print and web utilize different systems for color and photos, so our work consisted of matching these across both media. This is the most often requested type of brochure at DLS Design: an oversized piece bearing descriptions of a client's work, with a pocket for inserts.
April 2011: One Against Many... Is Good Odds

One against many is good odds for clients who hire attorney Jeffrey Jannuzzo. Jeff goes against nationally-known law firms in matters such as partnership disputes and malpractice claims, and has achieved a winning record. DLS Design communicates Jeff's prowess with a Flash animation -- softly dramatic, with a bit of humor. Adversaries, represented by small clusters of figures, are dominated by a larger figure crafted to look like Mr. Jannuzzo in silhouette. www.jannuzzo.com
March 2011: DLS Re-habs Litigator Web Site

In March, DLS completed a re-design of the web site for the Lauro Law Firm, a litigation firm practicing in Tampa, Florida as well as New York City. DLS retained aspects of an older design, but corrected for pages that were too dark, or poorly organized, broadened the page footprint, and added drama with an animation incorporating scenes from the firm's two locations and appearance photos of the name partner from the courthouse steps. The web site also includes a set of talking-head videos explaining the firm's practice. www.laurolawfirm.com
February 2011: Lean and Mean Startup, and a Niche-Market Law Firm Site

OvertimeLawyer.net is an example of a niche-practice site we do for law firms at DLS Design. Typically these cover a very specific area of law, or one particular case. As its name states, this site is intended to give information to the public about overtime and other employment issues. At www.overtimelawyer.net
Paul & Paul, LLC, is a startup law firm located in Southport, Connecticut, focusing on civil litigation and corporate law, areas previously handled by the principals at other, larger firms. The client wanted a simple law firm web site with a non-cluttered appearance. At www.paulctlaw.com. DLS Design handles a number of law firm startups, and you can read more on our New Law Firm page.
