Background: Goldstein, Goldstein, Rikon & Gottlieb specialize
in eminent domain law, handling cases where the government siezes
property for public projects. They requested a web site and brochure
after finding DLS Design on the internet. We designed the web site
first; the above logo was an organic part of the site, and not specifically
assigned.
Process: The color scheme, layout and typography of the
web site were designed to be easy to move into print. A green background
of horizontal lines translated into green paper with a "laid"
finish (a finish with horizontal lines), and the initials, appearing
on the top of every web page, became an emboss on the cover. We
didn't attempt to design a symbolic logo, just to use the initials
(the web site is www.ggrgpc.com).
Outcome: The firm was pleased, and we continue to maintain
their web site. Read more about the firm's corporate brochure here.
Designers: David Schiffer, June Bae
