Here are collected samples of the best work we have done over the past several years. We have designed web sites since 1995, and have experience with print and corporate identity extending back even earlier. For current projects, go to our New Projects page. Or, review our work by market sector. See Marketing for Law Firms, Marketing for Non Profits, Marketing for Health Care, and Marketing for Industrial Companies.
Throughout this web site, the projects we've done for our clients are always reproduced with their permission. We think it shows they appreciate our work, and we appreciate their confidence. Read client testimonials here.
January 2011: DLS Gets to Second Round with LA Law Firm
DLS designed its first web site for Los Angeles firm Russ August & Kabat, a mid-size general practice firm handling intellectual property, entertainment law and other work just a few years ago. Imagine our surprise when RAK told us they were re-designing their site... and our delight when they chose us again. The result: a striking update rooted in a related color palette, but more dramatic with deeper, richer tones, a wider footprint and a more measured animation. www.raklaw.com

December 2010: True Colors for "True Counsel"
In December, DLS Design finished our design of a very comprehensive web site for New York City litigators Mintz & Gold LLP. Like the city itself, we think our design is tough-minded and colorful. Includes extensive print and video of cases handled by the firm. The slogan, "Counsel... in the true sense of the word," was suggested by DLS as we read an earlier draft of the site's content. An extra contribution we are pleased to make for our clients. At www.mintzandgold.com November 2010: Alison Arden Besunder
DLS Design lavished time and care on this new web site for trusts and estates attorney Alison Arden Besunder. Alison is a prolific writer and speaker, and her work is represented in detail. Her small firm practices in New York, Brooklyn and Manhattan, working in the traditional areas of wills and trusts, as well as niches such as gay and lesbian clients and same-sex domestic partnerships. The firm represents doctors of all types, health care facilities and those in related fields such as pharmacists and home health agencies. At www.dresnicklaw.com

August 2010: Mount Kisco Child Care Center
DLS design takes good care of our clients, just as they in turn take care of their customers — in this case the children of northern Westchester. For Mount Kisco Child Care Center, DLS designed a bright, colorful new site filled with pictures. The center services families with children ranging from infants through grade school, and places special emphasis on nutrition through a program involving local farmers and chefs, Feed Me Fresh. Features being added to the site include both a daily menu and an events calendar which the client can edit directly through a web browser. At www.mkccc.org.
July 2010: Schpoont & Cavallo
Through a personal connection, DLS Design came to design this elegant, simple web site for Schpoont & Cavallo, LLP, a woman-owned matrimonial law firm in New York City. Palette is light, pleasing, contemporary, green; site is populated by descriptions of practice expertise including pre-nups, post-nups and all the specialties of the trade; and carefully optimized for search. At www.schpoontcavallo.com
May 2010: The Wright Stuff
Pennsylvania-based Wright & O'Donnell "landed" DLS to design their firm web site. W&O becomes our latest law firm client whose main focus is related to insurance defense — see samples on linked page (in right-hand column). We are currently working on several other firms in this category around the US. Wright works on the defense side of cases involving insurers, representing them as well as corporations, manufacturers, flight schools and instructors, as well as school districts, townships and other governmental entities. See www.wright-odonnell.com.
April 2010: Old, New, Blue, But Nothing Borrowed
Kaplan Landau LLP, a venerable boutique practicing in many areas related to litigation, is the latest clients to hire DLS Design to create their web site and branding material. Blue is an ever-popular color for law firms, and it is appropriate, but we make every design new, different, and with nothing borrowed from the outside. See www.kaplanlandau.com
February 2010: Petrillo Klein
Specialists in new law firms, DLS Design has just completed the design of the new web site for Petrillo Klein LLP, which just formed. Additional services include conflict resolution training. At www.ndsny.org.
December 2009: DLS Connects with Connecticut Clients
Connecticut is one of the most rapidly growing markets for DLS Design's business building proficient web sites for middle-market companies of all kinds. This month we completed the web site for Edgerton HVAC, serving Fairfield Connecticut residential and commercial customers needing heating, air conditioning services -- sales, design and installation. At www.edgertonhvac.com. We also implemented an all-new web site for A.M.I. Contract Foodservice, who provide restaurant and catering equipment, and the engineering services needed to install it, throughout the Middle East. This is the fourth web site we have completed for A.M.I. At www.amifood.com. We built a clean look around each company's branding scheme, making text- and link-rich web sites optimized for high search engine visibility.
November 2009: Mount Sinai Medical Center Sports Medicine
DLS Design adds to our portfolio of important healthcare web sites with the completion of a new site for Mount Sinai Medical Center, Center for Sports Medicine. Located in Manhattan, the center's doctors specialize in the treatment of athletic injuries, arthroscopic surgery, knee and shoulder reconstructive surgery and new areas such as viscosupplementation and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy. Patient forms and contact information are a must on medical practice web sites, and the site includes a wealth of these. At www.mountsinaisportsmedicine.com.
November 2009: This Law Web Site is No Crime
Building upon a pre-existing web site by one of the national vendors, which the client felt missed the mark, DLS designed and produced a new one for the law firm of Pagán & Pagán. In designing the new site, we cut away layers of "search-engine speak" — the many subheads and strings of words appearing on web sites in the expectation of helping in search results. This format often results in clutter that is difficult on the human eyes that actually view a site. Pagán & Pagán is a father and son team specializing in criminal defense. They also handle civil litigation and other work. At www.ramonpaganlaw.com.
October 2009: Flying Solo, and Flying Carefully
For October, we present the web site of solo-practitioner Keir Dougall, who recently set up a solo-practice law firm. At the client's request, this site avoids animations and other special effects, and keeps its presentation strong with a restricted palette, dark slate color, and minimal use of images. At www.dougallpc.com.
For long-time client Kreindler & Kreindler, we implemented a blog exploring law and aviation safety. Utilizing WordPress technology on the backend, the client is able to administer the site, create new articles, organize the content in multiple ways, and set up a variety of authors and users with differing levels of access. At www.airsafetyandlaw.com.

If you're pleased with our services, we are more than willing to be promoted later on.
May 2009: Web Revamp with Brochure for Longstanding Client
DLS designed the first web site for firm then named Friedman, Levy & Goldfarb early in the decade. As the firm grew, it became evident a revamp was needed, which we happily completed this spring, at www.friedmanlevy.com. Pursuing a two pronged approach, the firm, now expanded to Friedman, Levy, Goldfarb, Weiner and Kresman PC, commissioned DLS to design a matching brochure. This compact, 3-panel setup has become our most requested format for law firms.

February 2009: Migraine Research Foundation

DLS Design has completed the design of the new web site for the Migraine Research Foundation, the only nonprofit organization dedicated solely to migraine research in the United States. The newly-reborn site features more extensive information than the client's previous web site, as well as a clean new design. The goal of the site will be to attract attention and donations to this worthy cause, and the site facilitates this by accepting donations. At www.migraineresearchfoundation.org
January 2009: DC Litigators Tap DLS for Branding, New Web Site

Adams Holcomb LLP handles complex litigation and antitrust matters. When planning the launch of their firm they tapped DLS to come up with their firm look and web site. Our logo for the firm takes as its starting point a cocktail napkin sketch from one of the lawyers, then applying some basic typographic principals and rendering electronically. Our output included a full stationery set -- letterhead, envelope and business card, as well as a firm announcement, labels, notepads, etc. And of course the firm web site at www.adamsholcomb.com

Real estate, construction, commercial litigation, criminal defense, and family law are some of the practice areas handled by Manhattan law firm Peluso and Touger LLP. DLS Designed this web site to be attractive, clear and accessible. The site features complete contents in three languages: English, Spanish and Chinese. At www.pelusoandtouger.co
June 2008: Enter, the Defenders

Under the banner "Defenders For the Professions," the firm provides legal representation for medical, legal and other professionals, national and international corporations, and insurance and healthcare companies. At www.fkbllp.com

We packed this site with musical samples enabling new clients to hear the many types of music he offers. At www.larrykingmusicny.com
May 2007: The Boys and Girls Clubs of Northern Westchester
and Window-Fix
In the nonprofit arena, DLS has worked with The Boys and Girls Clubs of Northern Westchester over the last year, maintaining an older web site while building a new one.
